Etna blew up again è una serie di otto foto (più una) scattate in digitale sull’Etna e poi trasposte su pellicola istantanea prodotta dalla Impossible Project, in occasione del workshop Volcania: An Impossible project, tenuto dal fotografo Mariano Dallago.

Attraverso questi scatti volevo mostrare gli inaspettati punti di vista che è possibile scorgere sull Etna: colori e geometrie che si incrociano estitleati grazie all’uso di una lente di ingrandimento.

Il titolo gioca con il doppio significato di blow up: ingrandire ed eruttare.

Etna blew up again is a series of eight pictures (+ one) taken on Mount Etna with a digital camera. Then transposed on instant film produced by Impossible Project. This series of photographs is part of the workshop Volcania: An Impossible project, held by the photographer Mariano Dallago.

Through these shots I wanted to show the unexpected viewpoints that is possible to see on Mount Etna: colors and geometries that intersect enhanced through the use of a magnifying glass.
